Bangladesh saw another big jump in the coronavirus cases on Thursday as the health authorities confirmed the detection of 4,019 new Covid-19 positive patients in 24 hours.
A total of 153,277 in 802,69 coronavirus tests carried out in Bangladesh have turned out to be positive.
Since March 18, the government said 1,926 people have died of COVID-19.
In the last 24 hours, 38 people died from the highly contagious disease.
Additional Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Prof Dr Nasima Sultana came up with the disclosure at its daily health bulletin.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8. The number of cases has spiked in recent weeks.
