Bangladesh today confirmed three more deaths from the novel coronavirus and 549 new cases of infection 4,332 samples in last 24 hours.
With this, the death toll from the deadly virus rises to 155 and the number of total infected person stands at 6,462 .
“The dead patients were aged more than 60. They were residents of Dhaka,” Additional Director General of Health Directorate Professor Dr Nasima Sultana made the disclosure in a virtual press briefing today.
Eight patients have cured in last 24 hours and a total of 139 patients cured so far.
“Some 4,309 samples were collected in last 24 hours and tested 4,332 samples,” she said.
Sample collection has increased by 2.79% compared to the previous day and 13.64% increase was reported for PCR testing across the country.
