Total 10,076 among 13,316 coronavirus-infected members of Bangladesh Police made full recovery from the disease across the country until Friday morning.
“Among the total infections, 2,489 policemen were attached with Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) alone till the date,” said sources at the Police Headquarters.
However, most of the recovered policemen joined their respective duty stations, the sources added.
The sources also informed that 53 cops have so far died of Covid-19 in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, 13,089 policemen were sent in quarantine while 4,532 cops have been undergoing treatment in isolations.
Bangladesh on Friday announced the finding of 3,034 new coronavirus cases and 51 deaths. The health authorities have so far reported 199,357 Covid-19 cases and 2,547 deaths from it.
