Both deaths and infections from coronavirus decreased in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours. At the same time 1,596 more patients recovered from Covid-19 , taking the number of people making recovery to 289,912.
The country reported 1,278 new cases, down by 182 than Thursday’s 1,460, during the period to bring the total to 375,870.
Besides, 17 more people succumbed to the virus, taking the death tally to 5,477, said a press realease issued by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), in the afternoon.
