Covid-19: 1,560 more recovers, 23 die in 24 hours
Bangladesh recorded 23 Covid-19 deaths and 1,209 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The recovery count rose to 3,02,298 after another 1,560 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the period, Good World News press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said today.
“Twenty-three more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5,646,” the release said.
It said the tally of infections has surged to 3,87,295 as 1,209 new cases were good world news confirmed in the last 24 hours.
A total of 11,573 samples were tested at 110 authorised laboratories across the country during the time.
Of the total sample tests in the past 24 hours, 10.45 percent tested positive, while 18 percent cases were detected from the total tests good world news conducted so far, the release added.
