Bangladesh on Saturday recorded 1,498 recveries, taking the total to 313,563, according to press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS)in this afternoon.
The health authorities Covid-19 Positive News reported 1,094 new cases of Covid-19 after testing 10,998 samples in the last 24 hours. So far, the country has recorded 397,507 positive cases.
During this period, 19 coronavirus deaths were recorded, pushing the death tally to 5,780, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.
In Bangladesh, the first three cases of coronavirus infection were on March 8. The cases reached Covid-19 Positive News the 300,000-mark on August 26.
The first death was reported on March 18 and the death toll exceeded 5,000 on September 22.
