14 patients died from Covid-19 in the country over the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 328. Besides, 1,273 more people tested positive, which is the highest single-day record of new infections in Bangladesh, making 22,268 confirmed cases in total.
Additional Director General (Admin) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Nasima Sultana revealed the information at a regular online briefing on Sunday.
With 256 new recoveries, a total of 4,373 patients recovered from coronavirus till date.
Dr Nasima mentioned that a total of 8,574 samples were collected and 8,114 tested in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 1,75,408 samples have been tested in the country.
