Bangladesh witnessed 1,495 more patients free of COVID 19 in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries to 292,860.
Besides, the country’s death toll from the virus now stands at 5,524 with 24 more deaths said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to the press release, 9,467 samples were tested Covid -19 News across the country in the last 24 hours.
The latest day’s infection rate was 12.60% of the total tests.
The country’s maiden cases were reported on March 8 this year and the first death from the COVID 19 breaking news was reported on March 18.
